Behaviour at School

At Expanse Learning we expect high standards of behaviour and work at all times.  We take a positive approach to discipline, and in matters of behaviour, encourage students to show consideration and care for people and property.  Sensible behaviour and active participation in the maintenance of high standards are our aims.

We expect students to be eager to learn, prompt, neat in appearance, courteous and considerate; to move sensibly and with a purpose in the school; and to bring nothing into School that could be harmful to themselves or others. Self-discipline is encouraged and good behaviour rewarded.

Discipline is considered a matter for joint co-operation between the school and home, thus ensuring consistency of action.

We apply a process of home to school agreements and expect the support of parents, carers and guardians in upholding these agreements. Expanse Learnings policies on Behaviour and Anti-bullying are available on the policies section of this website and provide more detail on the standards we expect.
