At Expanse we provide a bespoke service supporting young people and adults aged 16-30 with additional needs/disabilities. By specialising within this precise age group it enables us to target age appropriate needs to include education, life skills and social inclusion activities through our structured timetable. We feel keeping our timetable consistent helps with familiarity and routine.
We strive to support the young adults that we care for and work with, to achieve their full potential in life and to become as independent as they can, regardless of how complex their needs/disabilities may be.
Our team of experienced staff support on a ratio is 1:3 and we offer a higher support of 1:1 if required.
All young adults are individuals and it is important for us to meet personal requirements. We offer learning through relaxed skills development sessions, offering various accredited and non-accredited courses, physical activities, life skills, cookery, work experience and healthy living.
We respect religious and cultural beliefs, physical needs and emotional and social growth; enabling all young adults within our care to become confident and contribute to society.
At Expanse we work in collaboration with many external partners and services to provide the best possible service and opportunities though our preparation for adulthood ethos.
